Arrowrock Photography is owned and operated by Don Johnson, an award winning Idaho photographer. His early fascination with cameras and darkrooms resulted in photographic education at Boise State University and at Brooks Institute of Photography, followed by years of experience and experimentation.

His photographic adventures have taken him to many locations in the US as well as New Zealand and the Philippines. In addition to his time behind the lens, Don loves to share his craft through engaging interactive classes ranging from beginning photography to advanced Photoshop.

Note regarding prints:
Once you have selected your photographs, go to the shopping cart to view printing options. While regular Kodak paper is excellent for portraits, I highly recommend metallic paper for almost everything else as it really makes images pop. True black and white images look great on Ilford B&W paper, as well as on metallic paper.

Selection of "image enhance" is optional, as the result closely matches my monitor and color space calibrations with or without this selection. I do recommend the optional lustre coating for fine fingerprint and UV ray protection.

Pay close attention to cropping in order to best maximize the selected print size. Most images are standardized to common framing sizes, but you will be asked to verify your cropping selection so take your time to get just what you want.

Finally, don't forget the professional matting and framing services also available. The variety of colors and styles are first rate and can add that final "wow" factor to a print.

If you have any questions about printing any image, please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll be more than happy to assist you.
